CrossFit women are bitches!
What happens when men stop CrossFitting and eating Paleo
To the am girls – i love you bitches!
Sincerely,
The bitch that sexually harrasses everyone
“The word “bitch” is very volatile – to some it’s the deepest, harshest name anyone could call a woman, and to others it’s completely benign. If, however, a woman who has strength, confidence, independence and intelligence falls under the general category of “bitch” (when used as a description of her character) simply because she has those traits, then I will do anything and everything in my power to help my 8-year old daughter become one. I can’t think of a greater gift I could ever possibly give her.”
-CrossFit women are Bitches!
Haha! Bitches…all of ‘em! Let’s help turn every little girl into a big bitch!
People who like to call themselves CrossFitters are notoriously annoying for not competing in anything at all. They claim that they are competing while training, which is comical. Sure, there are some who actually compete — I mentioned yesterday that Dutch had brought some people to the meet, and this is good. However, plenty of “CrossFitters” love to claim the status of being an “elite athlete” while not even participating in any kind of sanctioned competition (even though the CF creed states something like “regularly learn and play new sports”). It just doesn’t sound intelligent to claim that you will beat everyone at their own sport when you don’t even partake, that’s all. It seems that the fear of risk and failure permeates us all.
my bitches.. love ya!
This gym is turning into my “church”
Ryan, where is that quote from? I think I read it out of context because it almost sounds insulting to everyone at the gym – saying that we’re not competitors? Hopefully I read that wrong… maybe it’s just saying that we shouldn’t claim to other athletes that we’re better at their sports than they are? So, to be humble? If that’s what it means… I agree… humility is important – and I think each of us has found it quickly when faced with Fran, Diane, Cindy, Murph, JT, or any other girl/hero wod… Fran humbles me regularly. Wallballs humble me. Some mornings, getting out of bed humbles me.
slater in the gym humbles me.
me too.
i got it from 70sbig. now that i read it by itself i see what you are saying. the article from today was talking about the fear of going out and competing and getting over it to do it. As well as talking to AJ this weekend when he was talking about guys going to powerlifting meets. it made sense to me in between class. not trying to offend anyone. The quote was actually supposed to be more about overcoming the fear of failure. at least thats what i took it as because we have some competition coming up and I feel pretty nervous wanting to do well.
I definitely hear ya on getting nervous… I’m trying to stay focused on the idea that I’m going there to have fun so I don’t psyche myself out.
