Pricing
New members at Derby City CrossFit receive one free hour-long One-on-One session when they join and never have to sign any contracts.
Your first month membership options:
$200 – 12-Session “On Ramp” Program. The emphasis of the “On Ramp” is skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our gym atmosphere. We are going to be hammering technique – both to ensure your safety – and success each WOD. We will introduce you to technique and mechanics first, then intensity. We will show you movements that begin with the relatively non technical and get progressively more technical. It’s important that you are here for each of the 12 sessions as these movements build on one another. There will be a workout at the end of each day which will get progressively more challenging as the course progresses. The difficulty of these workouts is ultimately in your hands… the degree that you push yourself will determine how much progress you make. The class is called “On Ramp” for a specific reason… we want to ramp you up to the level of intensity and output that is inherent in our gym. Also, shifts in body composition are one of the most motivating ways to measure success, so we highly encourage you to take “Before” pictures at the beginning of the “On Ramp” class.
$300 – 8-Session “On Ramp” Program. More for less? Not to worry – this version of our On Ramp Program includes only one-on-one coaching; whereas our 12-Session Program is group-oriented. Our 8-Session Program allows for intensive instruction from your own personal coach.
$150 – Unlimited Membership plus three One-on-One Sessions. These sessions are for the athlete already proficient in basic movement technique and allow you to go over more advanced movements to quickly ramp up to regular membership.
After your first month, our athletes have three options: (The price for each membership level drops $20/month if you come just 3 days/week.)
$150/month – Unlimited membership plus two One-on-One sessions per month.
$130/month – Unlimited membership plus one One-on-One session per month.
$105/month – Unlimited membership for those who pass our movement proficiency test.
Passing our test means you show proficiency and basic knowledge in the Squat, Deadlift, Snatch, Burpee, Wallball, Kettlebell Swing, and Pushup.
If you would like more One-on-One personal training with any of our Coaches, the fee is $50/hour and must be scheduled in advance. This option is for anyone that would like more instruction in specific lifts or exercises, especially those who might want to have a program developed specifically for their sport/needs.
Nutritional instruction is included as part of your membership. Also, ask us about info for family, student, corporate, military, police, and firefighter discounts.

What is DCCF? The essence of CrossFit is a view that fitness is about performing well at any and every task imaginable. Picture a hopper loaded with an infinite number of physical challenges and being asked to perform random feats drawn from the hopper. The implication here is that fitness requires an ability to perform well at all tasks, even unfamiliar tasks, tasks combined in infinitely varying combinations.
Workouts involve the use of kettlebells, bodyweight drills, Olympic weight training, and cardiovascular conditioning. Unlike other gyms, A COACH IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE to assist and direct you to ensure safe and proper technique and help achieve long-term success. Furthermore, this coach is included as part of your monthly membership. As a member of Derby City CrossFit, not only will you get coaching every day you’re at the gym, you will also have access to a massage therapist, Pilates classes, and nutritional advice.
